My piece, entitled “We are born of water– it is the shape of us,” includes images reflecting the many forms that water takes– oragami clouds and raindrops, angular snowflake shapes, spirals and waves of eddies and whirlpools and flowing water. The piece is immersed in water which reflects the sky and trees, and the intention of the piece is to provoke reflection on how the art and ourselves are immersed in and part of one creation– without separation.

Creating this piece of art was fun and allowed me to slow down, reflect and flow in moments of deep creativity. Capturing the final piece in a photograph was unusual and added another layer of creativity to the project.
