The Davis Downtown Business Association (DDBA) launched the Communal Art Project, inviting art that shared how people in Davis were coping with COVID-19 and shelter-in-place restrictions. Community artists responded, and the collection of art serves as a testament to the Davis community’s resilience, and the DDBA will reproduce works to support COVID-19 economic recovery efforts for local businesses. The City of Davis Arts & Cultural Affairs program partnered with the DDBA on a downtown installation.
