River Wise

My piece is intended to visualize the feelings and actions that one experiences in a Rage Room, to represent a rite of reversal – a ritual where social order and norms are intentionally broken out of. A black background, with abstract scraps in an explosion-y pattern, & red and silver streaks of paint that spell “RAGE” at the bottom.

This was a very therapeutic process for me. After cutting out my pieces, I put on some metal music and just unleashed all my anger onto the paper (similar to a rage room).
