There’s a New Sheriff in County aims to highlight the powerful and often-overlooked role of the sheriff to demonstrate the importance of extending abolitionist praxis beyond city police departments. Biweekly in August and September we hosted conversations to reconsider the role of sheriffs and alternatives to policing in our counties.
